Link & Learn webinar – Agentic AI in Learning: Does It Support Autonomy in the Classroom and Workplace?

Join us for an immersive Link & Learn webinar exploring how agentic AI can support learner autonomy in both the classroom and the workplace. The session will focus on ways to strengthen students’ sense of autonomy and ownership of their learning, particularly in longer-term project work, while also drawing parallels to how these approaches translate to corporate learning environments.

View video here

In this session, Helena Ledermann and Richard Harte will present findings from Learnovate’s latest research sprints. These sprints combined teacher interviews, ideation workshops, and rapid prototyping to explore how AI can act as a thinking partner rather than simply an answer engine.

Discover how AI can enhance learners’ decision-making and reflection while preserving their sense of agency—helping learners take control of their own learning journey.

Participants will leave with practical insights and tools, including:

  • Design principles for AI in schools that preserve learner autonomy
  • Classroom prototypes demonstrating AI as a supportive thinking partner
  • Practical strategies for keeping learners in control of their learning

Following the keynote, a cross-sector panel will explore how agentic AI extends beyond schools. Panelists will discuss real-world applications, key challenges, and strategies for supporting learner autonomy across both educational and corporate contexts.
