Moving Towards More Authentic Learning Experiences – Use Case: Learning Needs Analysis

The purpose of this Use Case was to explore the potential of Generative AI as a tool for  conducting a Learning Needs Analysis. Understanding the learner’s needs is a critical step in  the design of any learning resource. However, it can be both complicated and time-consuming. Therefore, this Use Case looks to examine whether Generative AI could  play a role in streamlining the process and/or facilitating a more comprehensive (and, therefore, more robust) analysis.

The experiment was conducted in September 2024 and used the ChatGPT AI web version with a Team subscription account.
