Access to the right information at the right time can be the key to getting the job done effectively and efficiently. This has never been more true than in our modern world where the powerful systems that we work with are getting ever more complex whether they’re business processes, software or devices. Chatbots and other AI powered technologies have the potential to help us access the information that we need in a more intuitive and natural way than previously possible and offer novel ways of interacting with information at the point of need. We have chosen to look at the problem of providing performance support tools to a technician in the field as we feel this represents a use case with interesting characteristics while at the same time being applicable to a wide range of other applications.
