Education Officer, National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA)

The NCCA advises the Minister for Education and Youth on curriculum and assessment for early childhood education and for primary and post-primary schools.  He works in the area of primary education and was part of the team responsible for the recent redevelopment of the Primary School Curriculum for all schools in the Republic of Ireland. 

Liam’s works focuses on a range of areas including curriculum development and enactment, primary physical education and teacher preparation for learning, teaching and assessment. He also contributes to an ongoing NCCA research and development project exploring the potential incorporation of artificial intelligence to support primary school teachers’ planning practices.
