The Learnovate Centre is delighted to announce Mastercard as a new Patron Member of the global research and innovation centre in learning technologies.
Mastercard, a leader in global payments and technology, is the latest company to join Learnovate’s list of Patrons. This is the highest form of Learnovate membership and Patron members sit on the organisation’s Thought Leaders’ Circle and participate in its Research Working Groups.
Learnovate, an industry-led technology centre funded by Enterprise Ireland, provides thought leadership to the world’s learning and development community on the innovative use of learning technology. Based at Trinity College Dublin, it empowers organisations through the exploration and application of transformative technology solutions.
James Carroll, Senior Vice President, Innovation and Digital Services, Mastercard, says:
“The future of work is changing at a faster pace than ever before. In order to stay ahead of the curve, we have to embrace life-long learning and support customers and employees as they upskill and continuously develop their expertise. E-learning is a critical component to this and an essential ingredient to our culture. Learnovate’s deep expertise and networks in e-learning and R&D make them a great partner as we develop our digital skills and innovation tools at Mastercard.”
Learnovate Centre Director Nessa McEniff said:
“We welcome Mastercard as the latest Patron member to join our global community of leaders in learning and technology. Together we are shaping the future of work and learning through our Thought Leaders’ Circle and Research Working Groups. We are excited for Mastercard Labs as a Service to bring their experience and ideas in digital innovation to our vibrant community of researchers, practitioners and policymakers.”
