About Diotima
The Learnovate Centre in Trinity College Dublin received funding from Enterprise Ireland under the Commercialisation Fund for the Diotima project, running from February 2025 to May 2026 at which stage the project would spin out as a campus company.
The project developed a platform to support educators with providing formative assessment and feedback with quality assured AI, developed to meet the requirements for high-risk education as set out in Annex III of the EU AI Act.
About the Author
This white paper was developed by Dr Eoin Lane of Noval Consultancy and former Head of AI and Data Science with Bank of New York Mellon in association with Learnovate Trinity College Dublin as part of the Diotima Project.
Dr Lane was engaged as compliance and governance consultant to the Diotima project.
