Link & Learn webinar: Breaking the Bias in Learning

7 April 2022 1pm – 2pm

Through this very special event in our Link & Learn series, we look forward to celebrating women in learning and examining unconscious bias to help create an inclusive culture in our organisations.

Janet Benson, a Senior Researcher in Learnovate, will host the event and has spent many years working in this sector.

We have invited a range of industry experts to participate in this webinar, including Aoife Garvan of WorkJuggle who run unconscious bias training workshops and have extensive experience in this area.

Aoife will explore some of the myths around learning and the underlying biases that exist beneath them. She will also explore learning in a post pandemic environment and asks how can we take the best out of the last couple of years and ensure it endures?

Neha Baj of Aurion Learning will discuss implementing unconscious bias training within companies, which if done effectively, should lead to a more inclusive workplace. Neha will showcase some eLearning they have developed in this area and how this can be easily adapted.

We will also be joined on the day by Sharon Claffey Kaliouby of Learning Pool, Christy Flis of Zoom and Kathryn Cullen of Digital Skillnet to delve into their experience on this topic during the panel discussion.

Our webinars give all attendees the opportunity to make valuable connections with others in our EdTech Community as well as practical take aways.
