About Jeff Miller

Jeff Miller, PhD, is the Chief Learning Officer at Cornerstone. In this role, he works to ensure that all employees are engaged, empowered, and enabled to continuously realise their potential. Specifically, he is responsible for the strategy and execution of global learning & development, diversity, equity & inclusion, career mobility, talent assessments, employee experience, internal communications, and the company’s executive leadership development programme.

Prior to Cornerstone, Jeff’s experience includes leading learning and development for companies such as The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf and Anna’s Linens. He also spent 27 years in public education as a tenured professor of educational psychology, an academic director for Santa Monica College, an owner of a consulting firm that helped struggling urban schools, and a teacher for the Los Angeles Unified School District. He has also taught graduate and doctoral seminars at USC, UCLA, Loyola Marymount, Pepperdine and others.

Jeff holds a PhD in Learning and Motivation from the University of Southern California. He is also a published author of two books on motivating adolescents, and writes a column on workplace trends and corporate learning strategies.
