After graduating with a degree in Business Studies from DIT, Brendan worked for nearly a decade with multinational companies in Japan, UK and USA. He returned to Ireland to study for an MBA with Trinity College Dublin and subsequently joined Intel Ireland. Since joining Intel, Brendan has worked in multiple roles for Intel in Finance, IT, new business development, Innovation and R&D.

More recently Brendan worked as the Corporate Affairs Director at Intel Ireland with responsibility for driving Intel Ireland’s policy, communications, education and community agendas and was involved in the European Commission driven initiative to promote the proliferation of Key Enabling Technologies in Europe as well as being the EMEA coordinator of Intel’s Girls and Women initiative. Brendan is now working in a worldwide sales and marketing role with the Intel Education business unit. Intel® Education has spent the last decade leading education transformation around the world through a systematic approach that delivers fresh insights, unique programs, and holistic solutions.

Brendan is currently enrolled on the Trinity College PhD register researching the contribution that advanced manufacturing can make to a knowledge based economy.
