Competition Terms & Conditions

By participating in the competition you are agreeing to these competition terms and conditions. The competition is being run by The Learnovate Centre in Trinity College Dublin.

Eligibility to Enter

The competition is open to entrants over 18 years of age who are in employment in a role related to learning and education. Employees of Trinity College Dublin, Enterprise Ireland, and IDA Ireland are excluded from the draw.

Closing date for entries is Monday, 19 June.

By entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and that you are eligible to receive any prize that may be awarded to you.

There is a limit of one entry per person and the competition is completely free to enter.

The Prize

The winning prize will be an Air Up 480 ml steel water bottle.

The use of specific brands as prizes by The Learnovate Centre does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement of such brands.

The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable, and no cash alternatives will be provided.

We reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond our control require doing so.

Learnovate’s decision on any aspect of the competition is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

Winner Announcement

Winner will be picked randomly from the list of entrants to the competition.

Winners will be notified via the email address provided by Friday, 30 June 2023.

Learnovate will make two attempts to contact the winner via email.

If the winner does not respond to the emails informing them of their win within 5 days of the second email, they forfeit their right to the prize, and Learnovate reserves the right to select and notify a new winner.

Delivery of the Prize

The winner will allow 30 days for the prize to be delivered, otherwise alternative collection or delivery arrangements can be made through mutual agreement.

Data Protection and Privacy

You agree that any personal information that you provide when entering the competition will be used by Learnovate for the purposes of administering the competition and for the other purposes as specified in our Privacy Policy.

All entrants may request information on the winning participant by emailing info@learnovatecentre.org

All entrants to the competition are deemed to have given consent to the disclosure of their name, place of employment and country as a winner.

All entrants are deemed to have read and understood the terms and conditions allowing Learnovate and Trinity College Dublin permission to publish their name and any related images or footage on Trinity’s website and social media accounts.

Limitation of Liability

Learnovate accepts no liability for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of participating in the competition or being selected for a prize.

General

The copyright, intellectual property rights, image rights and any other rights vesting in any competition footage, posts and photographs (whether depicting the winners or not) shall remain the property of Trinity College Dublin, who reserves the right to use it in any way.
Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
By entering each entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Trinity College Dublin reserves the right to amend, terminate or withdraw the competition or alter the prize of the competition without prior notice should that prize be unavailable for reasons beyond its control.
