They design, build, and deliver engaging online learning experiences that deliver key skills through active engagement and experiential learning. They also provide digital learning consultancy, training and support for Learning & Development teams. The Learning Rooms has developed bespoke digital learning solutions for a wide range of clients from government agencies through to small and medium sized businesses and, also, global multinationals.

The Learning Rooms has been a Patron Member of Learnovate since 2023. John Hannaway, their Business Development Director, describes Learnovate as ‘a total umbrella organisation’, providing access to great expertise, cutting-edge research, and a network of Learning and Development professionals. Crucially, from a business development perspective, being a member of Learnovate has afforded The Learning Rooms the opportunity to both strengthen the bonds with existing customers while opening up conversations with potential new clients. John believes the Learning and Development industry has a very collaborative mindset and the Learnovate membership model provides a vital opportunity to leverage this willingness to share expertise and work together.
The whole team at The Learning Rooms have benefited from their membership of Learnovate. Rosemarie, their Learning Services Manager has gained useful insights from Learnovate’s expert talks and panels, while Ryan, their eLearning Director has found attending Learnovate’s quarterly Thought Leaders Circle meetings for Patron Members to be hugely worthwhile.

He feels that it allows them to have deep and meaningful conversations with the rest of the membership of Learnovate.
John also speaks highly of the annual Learnovation conference saying it’s one of the professional events that The Learning Rooms team look forward to the most. For John, the event feels like a lot of thought goes into ensuring it delivers an ‘experience’ on the day and in no way feels like a ‘tick-box’ conference.
Talking about the future, John is emphatic that there are so many benefits to being a Patron Member of Learnovate that it feels like a ‘no-brainer’ to continue the partnership. Even though The Learning Rooms only has a team of 20 people, John feels they get the same opportunities that would be afforded to a large multi-national. As he says, ‘we feel a huge amount of support from the Learnovate team.’
