Arthur Godsil holds an MA degree from Trinity College, Dublin and an M.Ed from The College of New Jersey. He has been involved in international education as a teacher and administrator for 36 years. For 23 of those years Arthur was Headmaster of St Andrew’s College, Dublin, a 1250-student school serving the local and international community offering the International Baccalaureate, Leaving Certificate and US High School Diploma and AP programme among other curricula. The school gained accreditation from the Council of International Schools (CIS) and from the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).

St Andrew’s is also is a member of the European Council of International Schools (ECIS). For 20 years Arthur served on the Joint Managerial Body (JMB), the organisation which provides a range of advice and support services, in addition to negotiating on behalf of school management in the network of 400 Voluntary Secondary Schools in Ireland.

He has been President of the Irish School Heads Association (ISA) and a member of that organization for 23 years. He is also a member of the Academy for International School Heads (AISH). 

He holds a Masters in Educational Administration and Management (M.Ed) from The College of New Jersey. Arthur has taught in Cottage Grove, Minneapolis, and in Ireland at secondary level.

In 2001 he received the ECIS Award for the Promotion of International Education.
