Wendy is consulting leader in the Netherlands and part of the Joint Europe Advisory Leadership team and the Europe Consulting Leadership team. Before these roles, she was leading the People & Organisation competence group in Consulting from 2011 till 2016. Since 2015 she has been supporting the global Network Leadership Team of PwC in the culture evolution of PwC itself, responsible for the values survey conducted globally with 220.000 employees early 2016 and shaping the new values for the network. Her client work is focused on culture transformation, culture & conduct audits and leadership development. In the past years she has focused mainly on culture and leadership challenges in the financial sector to restore customer trust.
She has led various large (cultural) transformation programs for banks and insurance companies. She is the driver behind 5 years of research about steering on culture and behaviour in various sectors. She has lead a large research in the financial sector interviewing many executives and supervisory board members of large financial intuition on how they steer on culture and behaviour and has published this research ‘re-evaluation; steering on culture and behaviour in the financial sector. Following this, she published ‘And now for real, leading by stakeholder needs’ in October 2014 and then ‘Grip on Culture, having an honest conversation about culture for supervisory and non-executive board members’ in 2015. In 2018 she published new research about the human value in the digital age.
