Richard Harte

Richard is on the Innovation Services team at Learnovate, and has worked on projects that cover a wide range of topics, including transversal skills, immersive learning, xAPIs, personalisation and gamification. 

Before his time at Learnovate, Richard worked on several large EU healthcare projects in areas such as gait analysis, fall detection, patient monitoring, data visualisation and medical UI design. His skill set includes user-centered design, user testing, ethnography, UI design, risk management and his interests are all things user experience.

He holds a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering from Maynooth University and a PhD from NUI Galway, where he studied older adults’ user experience with wearable medical devices.
