Jonny has 20+ years’ experience in digital media and learning technology and is a leading member of the learning technology industry in Ireland. He is Chair of the Learnovate Centre in Trinity College Dublin, one of Europe’s leading research centres in learning technologies.

As CEO of Electric Paper, Jonny grew the business organically from zero revenues to over $20m before selling the business to ThirdForce PLC in 2003.

Jonny is Founder and Partner at Versari Partners and Leaf Investments, providing capital, infrastructure, and expertise to early stage learning tech companies. Jonny is Chair and co-founder of CustomerMinds and also sits on the board of leading EdTech company StoryToys, based in Dublin, as well as the Organising Committee of the Techies for Temple Street Charity.

The Entrepreneurial Sales Institute has spent the last two years building an online education and assessment programme that focuses on developing the skills, competencies and mindset required to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment. Along with Versari’s Belinda Brummer, Jonny will share the lessons they have learned on this journey and discuss topics such as mobile and social learning, work-based education and new methods of assessment and accreditation.
