Breda O’Toole

A native of Connemara, Breda joined IDA Ireland 16 years ago after spending much of her career in the UK. She has worked as IDA’s Head of HR, Regional Business Development and most recently heads up a team supporting the growth of 270 small to medium sized multinational companies in the IDA portfolio. Previously, Breda worked as Head of HR and Policy at Bolton Metropolitan Borough Council, UK and achieved a master’s degree in Strategic Human Resource Management with Manchester Metropolitan University. Breda was educated in Kylemore Abbey, Co. Galway and Shannon College of Hotel Management. Breda is a strong believer in coaching for performance and leadership excellence. Breda and her team work closely with multinational companies supporting their efforts in developing and growing their business in Ireland. Learning and development of people is seen as a key element to remaining competitive and driving change.
