Dr Mary Kelly

Mary is the senior academic leader of the College and has overall responsibility for the development and implementation of the College’s academic strategy.  

Mary has been a driving force in the strategic direction of research initiatives and innovation in academic development since joining Hibernia College in 2012. During her tenure, she helped establish Hibernia College as the leading provider of primary school teachers in the country. 

Mary holds a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Education and Leadership from Dublin City University and a Master’s in Education from University College Dublin. She is highly skilled in curriculum development, educational technology and teacher training. Her research centres on early childhood education, teacher education and practitioner research.
