Learning & Development Institute (formerly The Irish Institute of Training & Development), founded in 1969, is the professional body representing members concerned with Learning and Talent Development in Ireland. We inspire excellence in practice and drive personal, national and organisational advancement through L&D. We lead the learning and development profession in Ireland by helping individuals and organisations to reach their full potential.

We support our members by offering professional education in L&D and a rich range of services, supports, events and resources. We provide a basis for member certification, enhance professional development and employment opportunities.
